In London, the Company was represented at the service at St Paul’s by the Past Master Emeritus John Jackman and the Clerk. The service was followed by at wreath laying at the Royal Exchange, where the Master Fruiterer laid a wreath on behalf of all Liveries present.

The forecast heavy rain held off for this important and moving occasion, allowing the large crowds present to reflect on the service and sacrifice of those killed in conflict, in particular during the First World War 100 years ago.
