Charitable News
Last night’s national BBC Six O’clock and Ten O’clock news featured a headline special report on knife crime.
Consultant surgeon Martin Griffiths at the Royal London Hospital is seen treating a victim of knife crime and is interviewed in depth about the rising scale of the problem. Rosin Keville from the St Giles’s Trust is also highlighted; both she and Martin have spoken at The Proof House in June and Martin, most recently at Purdey’s last month (pictured).

This is part of a week-long feature and there will be other pieces throughout this week.
Being located in close proximity to the Proof House, the Master has made the Victim Reduction Trauma Unit at The Royal London Hospital and the St Giles Trust her charitable initiative for this year.
Please, if you can, take the 7 mins to watch the link as it shows Martin and Roisin on the front line. You will also see how your generous donations are being put to very good use.
The Master’s £60K target has now been reached and this means that another case worker for the St Giles Trust can begin their vital role. The Gunmakers’ Charitable Trust has wholly supported the Master in this initiative; we have this leading trauma unit for all London on our doorstep.
Thank you to all of you who have so generously contributed.
