Fly fishing treat for Gunmakers at Holbury Lakes, 16 July 2022
Court Assistant Carl Langton and Freeman of the Company Julie Steadman took up the very kind offer, courtesy of Steward Charles Bettinson, of a day’s fly fishing at Holbury Lakes, Romsey, Saturday 16 July. With proceeds to the Gunmakers’ Company Charitable Trust and a great opportunity firmly seized, our two novices were looked after extremely well by their host. Novices, possibly not, but on the blistering hot day they managed bags of five and seven respectively.
Congratulations and grateful thanks to Charles for sponsoring the day.
