Liverymen win Gold in European Championships

Congratulations to Liverymen Richard Sharman (pictured below) and David Kent who recently represented Great Britain in the ‘F’ Class European Championships held at Bisley.

The competition is the largest annual ‘F’ class competition in the world with over 200 entrants representing over 20 European States. Shot over 2 days the competition comprises 3 matches held at 800, 900 and 1000 yards. Great Britain comprehensively beat their opponents to take the Open team gold medal.

Richard and David also won individual silver medals, Richard  in the first 800 yard match with 75.13 , and David in one of the 900 yard matches. Overall David was placed 9th and Richard 14th.

‘F’ Class shooters seek to push the boundaries and achieve the highest standards of accuracy at long range. The target is half the size of a standard Target Rifle target, the 5 ring being a mere 10” in diameter at 1000 yards.
