Strengthening Ties with West Ham Sea Cadets
On 22 May, we were delighted to formalise our affiliation with the West Ham Sea Cadet Unit in a ceremony at their Canning Town HQ. The Master presented an affiliation certificate, a naval cannon trophy for future competitions, and a £500 donation on behalf of our Charity, the Gunmakers Trust.
A follow-up visit to the Proof House gave Cadets a hands-on tour of our historic site, supported by our team—special thanks to Joe Smith for leading the tour so professionally.
Although keyring stamping had to be postponed, we’re planning a future visit to complete this with the Cadets.
A rewarding start to a promising relationship. We look forward to seeing the Unit continue to thrive!
