The Christmas Court, 5 December 2024

Mr Richard Hefford-Hobbs, Clothed as the new Master of our Company at the Nomination Dinner exactly one month before, presided over his first Court on Thursday 5 December.  As usual a busy and challenging meeting, but he brought his customary efficiency, industry and humour to bear, and the meeting was a success.

The busy schedule of the meeting ended with the Admission of two new Freemen and the Clothing of five new Liverymen before their progression was celebrated with a fine lunch in the Court Room.

The photograph of the new Gunmakers’ Court is on the Livery page of our website and is repeated above.  The photograph below shows the new Liverymen resplendent in their gowns, from left to right are Paul Hornby, James Weeden, Paul Gluckman, the Master, Richard Dyson and Philip Montague.
